Sacred Haven of Debauchery

It's Russia...
A familiar scene. We also sometimes have groups of rowdy people showing up in our backyard around midnight during the warmer months, yelling and blasting music for the whole neighborhood. And sometimes it's even worse.
Once, around 3 PM, they shoved some guy into a car and drove him away somewhere. I don't think that was just a group of rowdy people anymore. He was shouting loudly, "People, help me!" Later, the police (back then it was still called the police) were called. They questioned the witnesses.
Once, a car was set on fire in a nearby yard.
I hope this doesn't happen in Canada!

Another case I remember was when some rowdy guy was yelling at his friend, Lyokha, in the backyard around 11 PM in the summer, because he had taken a "gun" without asking! For about twenty minutes, he loudly explained, so that all three houses and the dormitory could hear through the open windows, that he didn't mind lending the "gun" – he could take it, but he was upset that he did it without coordinating with him beforehand (his wife was at home). I don't remember if Lyokha understood or not. Well, that's how it was... He talked to him for about twenty minutes, then probably walked around the yard for a bit longer and calmly went about his business...
