“My name is Melissa Mayvin, and my colleagues and I are responsible for the security of the meeting today. All guests undergo a personal inspection in these rooms before proceeding to the conference hall,” she glanced at her assistants. “Lady Gainsborough forbade us from inspecting Carmine Vermilion and his entourage, but she said nothing about yours… So, although the final decision rests with you, as the host of the meeting, if you don’t know these people personally, I would prefer to take all necessary precautions.”
