Telas Forengard contacted members of the Empire's liberation front again and arranged a meeting with them in the forests outside the city, insisting on the Prince's presence. Thiarri Reim, Halmeldir, One-Eye, and their other comrades did not go there directly, but through the Dungeon – first, they used the part of it where the trio had met the Prince a few days earlier, then they traversed a very long and winding tunnel that Thiarri himself had used, and finally, they completed their underground adventure by following the path that Telas had told them about during his previous visit. In the end, they found themselves in the Dungeon of an old castle, which had long belonged to the Eisenbach family. The Count greeted the future Emperor and his entourage, and then ordered his subservient servants to accommodate the guests according to their status, reminding them that a formal dinner was scheduled for the evening, during which the future plans of the newly formed alliance would be discussed.
