Traditional events in the capital of the empire always brought Elrina genuine pleasure and joy to watch, but only in recent years have a number of new, amazing performances been added to the usual horse races, art exhibitions, and theatrical productions, all taking place in the very same place where, not so long ago, blood was spilled and excited fans roared in greedy frenzy. If she were to thank the current government for anything, it would be for this opportunity to spend time in a cultural and civilized manner.
As for her own participation in the competitions, she always found it interesting to use them as a way to relax and test her own limits, but the desire to win at all costs and use any means to achieve this was never her ultimate goal. This time, however, a simple coincidence played a major role, leading her to victory in a new sporting format. Of course, the pleasure of triumph was exhilarating, but the fact that she owed this victory primarily not to her own strength, but to an invention of modern science, which others were also allowed to use, somewhat spoiled the overall impression.
Nevertheless, Elrina outwardly showed no sign of it, thanked the audience, the fans, and the other participants, and left the arena, hoping to prepare for the next competitions.
