Allow me to point out that Summoning with low spell power is just a way to grind levels. IMHO. :)

You misunderstood me. In Summoning, I almost never use the Elemental and Phoenix summons. I usually use Phantom Archers and Druids. But if I have a small army, that's when I use other Summoning spells. And with Light magic, the main thing is to cast it on all your units and make sure it lasts as long as possible. As for Chaos magic, the spell's power plays the main role; without sufficient spell power, it won't help you! And I'm not saying anything about Dark magic, because when I play as Elves, I don't need it!;)
