I didn't make it past the first game either. In fact, this was the only match for the portal at this event where there was a one-sided defeat – a burn rune, going first with a perfect curve and all its stuff, while I had a mediocre start with two early Sapphires in hand, and of course, neither cats nor icars appeared. Although they wouldn't have changed the situation anyway, when the opponent casts either Oz with spells or Left every turn, you get damage regardless of your actions. In general, no chance, the rune is a must-die, and that's it.
