I read online that the rewards for each round in Stage 2, Group A are really good, so I decided to check it out – I went for gold and played another game, ending with a 4-1 score. I got 90 coins and two packs. So, it seems that for a 4-1 score in the first stage, I received... I think 120 coins and one pack? That is, the reward essentially becomes one tier higher, and there's also a chance to get a legendary or shards for the Sirzech's Orb.

Players who qualify for Group A in Stage 2 will earn more rewards for each round.

Another interesting point – I'll try playing both attempts every day in the second stage and see if the reward increases and by how much. If it does, that's great.

By the way, these two packs were for Tempest, and in one of them, I pulled my second Animated Darkjann. I generally don't have much luck with Animated legendaries in this game, but this time I wasn't upset, but rather the opposite. What's the percentage chance of getting such a pull, I wonder?
Also, during that one round, I completed all three daily quests, so it was a more than successful run.

The games were also pretty good; in one, I dumped a bunch of artifacts on Ceraskus, buffed him up, and killed him with Sarif on the same turn; in another game, a White Wolf elephant was traded into my board (it doesn't happen often, but it's always very funny), and I one-shot Sarif from an empty hand, again playing the whole game without Deus; and in the last one, there was some crazy vampire – he started playing a regular agro neutral-blood deck, but ended up with Scarlet Sabers, and even pulled an Izuru from Bandersnatch, so he decided to play a generic neutral-rune/forest deck. It looked pretty ineffective.
