Somewhere on the internet, I saw an opinion that this format is full of bad players.
Surprisingly, I encountered far more Burn Rune decks than Dash decks. And this was one of the reasons why I couldn't play Portal properly. And the Dash decks I did encounter never showed an amazing opening with a flooded board on turns 4-5 (although this is common in ranked).
After 15+ months of Shadowverse, I was belatedly enlightened specifically about these two decks - it's better not to play them at all if you care about winning.
That's why I didn't take Daria to the Grand Prix - I was afraid of bad draws. I didn't even consider Dragon, and I don't have much experience with it.
