Soon, the Araidians returned to the mansion, and Helsward finally began explaining the task for which Halmeldir, Jack, One-Eye, and [another rebel chosen by the players] had been selected. The others were assigned different tasks.
— Here is a map of one of the sections of the city’s sewers where we are currently located. — Halmeldir noticed that this map was identical to one he had seen before. — You will need to descend into it through one of the four entrances, activate the lever that controls the doors, and make your way to the western part of the sewers. At the very end, you will come to a wall. One of you will have to put your hand into the sewer water and feel for the third brick from the bottom. Which one exactly… well, it’s worth a try; you can try a few if it doesn’t work the first time. If this simple task is completed successfully, a hidden door will open before you, leading deeper into the dungeons. From there, you should be able to easily proceed in the right direction, — Jayle showed another map of the intricate dungeons, — after that, you will need to spend some time there and wait for the prince to appear. As I said before, this part of the dungeons is unfamiliar to him, and he does not have the map that you will have, so do your best. However, I refuse to believe that such a simple task can be botched, so I am sending you with a clear conscience.
(Note: you can either go directly along the required route or explore this section of the sewers (choosing where to go on the map) and wander through the dungeons (there will be no maps or directions; instead, an event check will be made). Of course, before descending, you can visit the shops.
