It was very cold outside. I didn't get enough sleep. I really didn't want to go, but the need to report made it impossible to skip it. I had to get ready, grab my passport, and head to the polling station. While I was riding the bus, a thought occurred to me: what if I spoiled the ballot by writing in technical drawing font, "So, you cowardly perverts, you didn't let Navalny participate, and now you're afraid of low turnout because there's no competition at all!" After all, voting is secret, and no one will be able to tell who among those who received the ballots voted and who wrote this! But I didn't want to lie, so I simply put a checkmark next to Suraykin, of course, with my own pen, and headed to the ballot box. At that moment, I was glad that I didn't spoil the ballot because this time there were some modern ballot boxes equipped with electronic scanners, and recognizing a large cluster of ink pixels outside or in several squares would be an easy task for them. And then the ballot box could immediately spit out the ballot, informing the observers standing nearby that the ballot was spoiled, indicating my full name, address, and passport details!
Leaving the building, I tried to call, but no one answered. When I got home, I warmed up, called again, and reported.
Now, in 2015, I'm going to the municipality for a rally! And speaking of the weather, I have a feeling that it won't be like Crimea at all. :(
