Well, since there's no PvP, and the story mode seems suspiciously easy, with each battle being completed in just a few clicks, I can afford to play something just for fun, like I used to create a Paladin from a Khajiit in Oblivion.
Initially, the story mode is indeed simple. It will get harder later.
It's not that important who stands in the second row. If the group is well-formed, they rarely come out of there.
Firstly, some of them have passive abilities that work from the back row. Secondly, some abilities of the front-row units bring the back-row units to the front row. Although, for a casual player, the back row is not that critical.
