Might & Magic: Heroes 8 - to wait or not to wait?

I'm looking forward to further news about the heroic saga. I probably won't be playing the 8th installment; I don't like Ashan. I'm interested in what will happen next and when this nightmare with the anniversary will end. After two unsuccessful projects, they might learn something, although the Heroes games from BlueByte are very intriguing...
