Good start: on Day 2 I picked up a max-sized Crypt and a near-max Crypt by the book, immediately expanded to 8 heroes. Found a Gnoll Hut and Lizard Hut, gathered gold, and built Hydras in the Castle. Tazar became a Water specialist and an Artillery specialist, but that didn't stop him from leveling up later. On Week 2 I took two Griffin Conservatories at the respawn and used chains to haul the Angels out from there through wasteland (unfortunately only two units, I expected more). Then I used chains to transfer the army to Tazar, who had been collecting gold (yes, he spent about 5 days gathering gold), and he took the Conflux; Ignissa killed Blue's Barbarian with 2 Angels. On Week 3 I went into the large treasure zone, looting Dragon Fly Hives and +2 Speed. Then I returned to the small treasure zone, took a max Griffin Conservatory and 3 more Dragon Fly Hives, then entered a Dragon Utopia. It gave junk, but I used the gold to place a Marketplace, sold artifacts for resources, and bought the missing component of the Bow of the Sharpshooter (which even came in handy). Around this time, my opponent started arriving through an unpleasant one-way portal; once I recaptured my Castle from him via chains (he didn't expect me to bring the army right after the Dragon Utopia). Then a Town Portal was granted through rebuilding, and a scout hero found a Fly scroll. I spotted a large treasure zone near the Barbarian respawn, decided to clear it and let him enjoy the Conflux. In 3 days I cleared 3 Dragon Utopias, they gave junk, only a Sword of Judgement, but also gave the Cape of Silence. After rebuilding a Dimension Door in the Necro village, I decided to jump on my opponent as soon as I got Expert Air Magic. I jumped and killed Galthran in his Castle, despite 14 Angels and 473 Skeletons. The Cape of Silence and morale penalties were an unpleasant surprise for him.
