Artem Boykov, also known as KobRa, has passed away.
I will remember Artem for the rest of my life.
Why do I have so few memories of him?
They slip away like sand through my fingers. I'll write something down so I can remember at least something.
I vividly remember only one thing: at the first M200 tournament in St. Petersburg, I accidentally threw the medals in the trash. When it was time for the award ceremony, I remembered that moment and found them. With childish boldness, Artem ran away from the medal for first place. I can't even remember exactly if that's how it all happened.
I had many conversations with him. He was a bright example for me. In a way, I learned from him how to be respectful, gentle, and cheerful.
I'm very sorry that I will never be able to make him happy again.
I still can't believe it.
