There are many strong players, and it's clear that most of them will make it through the best-of-1 and best-of-2 rounds, and then someone will win in the best-of-3. At the same time, a situation like this is quite possible: some average player pulls off about 20% of the wins in the first round of the playoffs against, for example, FTS, and Vanya will be happy to remember the 4 months he spent playing in a group that was interesting to him:D
In any case, of course, respect to those who organize the tournaments, and I understand that there are few people who want to do this. It's just very sad that an interesting tournament for me, with its template-like regulations, discourages me from wanting to play.
