It would be interesting to hear the opinions of Rebel and Dirty themselves, as the host and judge – are they willing to consider any reasonable suggestions regarding the Regulations?
There are basically two main scenarios:
1) There were no candidates to host the tournament, and Rebel volunteered to do it as is, following last year's rules, without much thought. The main goal is to hold the tournament. In this case, we just "smile and wave," and "thank you that (the tournament) is alive" (and sober FTS has already written everything :D).
2) There were candidates, and Rebel was chosen as the person who is willing to think more than the other candidates. There is hope for this because there are words like this:
March 27-28 – final determination of the tournament regulations
In this case, it even makes sense to come up with something now, before the registration ends.
