Might & Magic: Heroes 8 - to wait or not to wait?

The whole point is that neither one nor the other will work. Online play needs short matches, and as an offline player, I need at least medium-length matches, but ideally, long matches. What should I do?

And what's the problem? It's nonsense. Just choose the largest map size and the strongest monsters, and play for several days. I've done this many times in "Heroes 5" online. They're creating a problem where there isn't one. They're even coming up with scripts...
