I decided not to tempo like my opponent, but instead take the Dragon Utopia and upgrade the bears. In the end, I got wings which allowed me to keep up with the opponent's tempo. More power, higher stats. I could have taken another turn to clear the rest of the center, but I decided to move toward him.
