This is via Transnistria. I wouldn't advise traveling this way. Traveling back this way is completely impossible, because according to the Moldovan customs database, the car will not have left the territory of Moldova (Moldovan customs officers cannot mark the car as departed because at the border with Transnistria, it is considered that the car has not yet left Moldova). I've already learned this the hard way.

Plus, the Transnistrian police love to pull over all foreigners in a row and extort bribes. Border guards sometimes sin in this way too, especially if they see that a person is visiting for the first time.
