A mid-battle crash is easily resolved. Since everything is streamed, players precisely replicate all moves. Judges will state each move, referring to the stream. In my opinion, it's a very simple and elegant solution. No one forces you to watch the video, but don't complain later that you were too lazy to familiarize yourself with the rules. If you can read, you can review the complete text summary at the top of the page. In our TBM mod, ALL changes are also listed at the top. It's not necessary to watch the mod overview and rules, but if you need detailed explanations, feel free to do so. If you don't understand the rule "It is forbidden to attack an opponent on the day they are discovered," then watch the stream with what you called "questionable informational content."
