Ah, so it wasn't just me! I don't understand why this happens, but their foolish march south is what allows you to win this battle.

The Titans are blocked by a weak stack, while another, stronger stack is placed within their range. The AI always tries to inflict maximum damage and therefore rushes into the fray under Berserk.
