Scouting revealed a stash of Efreeti and Devils. Luna also joined. Good thing she joined; without her, that lineup wouldn't have worked tempo-wise. Until week 1 day 17, I took gold objects and grabbed stashes. Two Dragon Fly Hives were 50+, so I decided it wasn't worth it, although I did break through the guard. On day 14 I had 2 Angels broken through by Luna at the Griffin Conservatory against 4 Efreeti (I lost 2 :(). Then I took two Devil stashes; the second one was in the middle of nowhere, but I built a road network for it. Luna went on and on day 21 broke through upgraded Nagas against 6 Devils and Peasants. Then on day 22, I Expert-ed Earth Magic for Luna and against 9 Devils broke through 70 Gr Cavaliers, losing 1 Devil. But the chests paid off — there were 20 Minotaurs and 5 Red Dragons. I also broke through a neutral GO from Chaos Hydras, spawned at the respawn, and holed up in the Castle to regenerate mana. On day 23, I broke through a second GO from Thunderbirds; there I got a bit of a beating :(. But I took a second-tier Griffin Conservatory and recaptured the dungeon center with Marius. Then Kreg arrived, who should have arrived judging by the replay, broke through the Wizard for the Grail (as it turned out, in vain — he didn't know I only had Luna casting spells), and approached the Castle. I bought one Devil at the Portal of Summoning and recruited troops at the Castle, and broke through a first-tier Dragon Utopia. It gave me Boots of Levitation, but also a Shield +6 Defense. I transferred the entire army to Shakti, and before attacking, I broke through a Naga Bank maximum for experience (I leveled up Tactics and Attack to Expert). Then I attacked and killed Kreg without any trouble — he was wearing the Grail (even though he had 11 Bears, but the rest was only 2 Angels).
