To be honest, I was a bit surprised by the negative attitude of Heroes players toward the TE version  After all, it was written specifically for conducting online tournaments. I only recently started playing TE and haven't figured everything out yet (which is why I play with almost all options disabled), but I really appreciated a couple of things. The author of the thread should have started not with the regulations, but with an explanation and description of the differences in TE. I want to note that what seems difficult to grasp at first glance can be TURNED OFF, leaving you with regular SoD. You can keep only the chess clock and quick stack operations (to quote for clarity: 8. Many control buttons and various key combinations have been added. Now you can transfer an entire army from one hero to another with a single mouse click; likewise, all artifacts are transferred with a single click. With one key combination, you can separate units from a troop stack into all free slots; with another combination, conversely, gather them into one stack; with a third, distribute them evenly across free slots, etc.)
If NO, then it's called being a "conservative," not "not a supporter." If YES, then please explain why, if it's not too much trouble. I personally don't know a single Heroes player who has played TE and didn't like this version
If anyone is interested, they can read the article about TE written by Wic, a Heroes player from the League http://cyberfight.ru/site/columns/56/article_43389/
