No, it's not related at all. Once you figure it out, you'll always know how to do it. And it doesn't take years, just 10 minutes, even without starting the game. You look, there are 2 portals, one is 50, the other is 100, you right-click and see the monsters. That's it. What's so complicated? Well, sometimes it's hard to determine the strength of the monsters, but that's true for everyone, especially me, and it doesn't prevent me from navigating.
