I decided to get to the bottom of this issue.
So, in December 2016, a stream was held for the NCF mod; here are the results: /post/1067826/
Overall, people liked the mod, but several comments were made about certain creatures. The point is that during the stream, they discussed creatures from the old pack – from 2016, and there were indeed some shortcomings and balance issues in that pack.
For fairness' sake, I should note that the EWA modification also includes the old, unfinished creature pack from 2016, which explains why those who played that old version, which is integrated into EWA, had complaints. Currently, the pack has been updated, and the balance has been significantly improved. In addition, new creatures have been added.
The conclusion is obvious: to reduce the number of complaints, many of which are actually justified, it is necessary to update the EWA version by including the new, revised creature pack. Let's hope that the author of the compilation will return to development and make the necessary changes
Added after 8 minutes
But while the author is away, the only option is to add the new pack manually
And could you provide more details regarding the improvement of the balance? Specifically, what does "improved balance" mean – a reduction of the author's set of abilities or, as I have suggested many times, a recalculation of the main parameters not specified by the author?
