I'm curious, do people agree with Peterius because he's eccentric? Or do they simply like him as a person? In my opinion, he deserves negative points for constantly stirring up trouble out of nowhere.

I think people agree with him precisely to avoid further arguments, and then the moderators simply delete his posts. His posts about politics in the thread about the international tournament are a prime example; no one responded to them, but they have already been deleted.
