Once, all the problems (with crashes and other issues) were discussed with the developers in this thread on the Heroes section of the forum. It's still available.

I have a question regarding possible changes: are you planning to buff Plate? (There were such intentions expressed in this thread.) The thing is, in principle, the game can be completed in 70 game days (yes, 2.5 months). This is with the Barbarians. With other factions, it takes longer, but 3 months is still enough. Without any cheat codes (unless you consider the first Thursday and the additional properties of wings as such). And at this stage (i.e., with an army, led, for example, by fifty Cyclops), defeating Plate with acceptable losses is not such a trivial task. Therefore, if Plate is significantly buffed, I wouldn't want to just wander around the map with the sole purpose of accumulating the necessary army. I think that this would make the game's dynamics suffer. Right now, both heroes are busy every day, and sometimes you even regret that you can't hire a third hero, even if just for a day or two.
Since then, I've managed to win this map in 63 days (2 months and 1 week). With the Barbarians. I was playing with the "planner," though. It's a pity that they never released version 2.0.
