Can we skip the detailed descriptions?

I hope Lavala won't get too excited when she sees Etal and won't try to jump on him. I'm getting tired of these curtains everywhere. Or maybe I'm just not in the mood today.

After spending some passionate time alone, the couple decided to remember their main task at the moment - to get to the building of the Society of Mages and talk to Lavala.

Maybe someone will suggest signing up for a mine quest along the way. Maybe not, but I really can't figure out how to justify such a sudden decision to sign up for a quest that the character has never even mentioned before.
