The commotion amused the couple somewhat, but it was clear that they wouldn't get away with it so easily. They wouldn't even get paid for this day's work. And Emilia was already so sleepy that she hid with Etal so she could think about where they should go next.
I'm making an Intelligence check with Emilia regarding the following individuals:
1) Blacksmith Kan;
2) Senator;
3) Blonde girl at "Happiness in a Glass"
4) Spectrum.
5) The Society of Mages + how to safely get there
6) The owner of the sharpened stakes.

1. After thinking it over, Emilia realizes that the blacksmith is not an option. He openly despises her and is unlikely to believe her, let alone risk hiding a Sorceress and her friend.
2. Emilia did not know if the Senator was currently in the city.
3. The owner of "Happiness" has already returned to the city and will not allow the blonde girl to receive guests.
4. Perhaps Emilia can get help there; after all, she is a member of the Society.
5. This information could be obtained at Spectrum.
6. Emilia did not know what their relationship was with the mayor.

-And what about the Senator, is he a good guy?

- Yeah, he seems alright. He lowered taxes, leased vacant land to peasants. He also promised to reduce the excise tax on alcohol. Maybe I'll even come out of the shadows if he does. I might even turn gray.
