It would be great to have aquatic neutral creatures that can be found in the sea and on the shore. Like pirates, mermaids, and giant fish (I don't remember what they were called) from the 4th installment.
I would like to see extinct creatures as neutral units... for example, nagas, dwarves, cyclops, and medusas, centaurs.
A strong neutral mage is really lacking... Let there be some kind of sorcerer with hypnosis!
And you could even create bandits, several types, low and high levels, and sometimes let them appear in groups of several creatures in an army... you could also include the aforementioned sorcerers in these bandit groups.
You could give them a special lair, like dragons... to get there, you first need to find a special building on the map, where they will tell you a magic word that opens the gate. Then you fight 40 level 6 bandits who reduce morale by -1 for each hit. Along with them is a powerful leader, while he is alive, the morale and luck of all bandits is +3, he casts mass haste and punishing strike, and he himself has an artifact that gives him immunity to magic and +300% protection from ranged attacks. He throws magic daggers that paralyze the enemy.
Well, after you defeat them all, of course, the treasure is yours, plus a special artifact - a lamp that allows you to summon a squad of genies to the battlefield 3 times, after which it disappears. ;)
By the way, new, more powerful genies, which the Academy could not control, would be good as neutral units. Teleport, able to go into the lamp for 2 turns once per battle and cast spells from there, being invulnerable to ordinary attacks. They summon small genies, elementals, and generally possess powerful spells like hypnosis (as an alternative to wandering mage-sorcerers).
After defeat, they pay off with resources - your choice.
I also think that there is a lack of wild animals: wolves, bears, boars, snakes, large birds of prey... you can even have herds of wild bulls... or even mammoths: D
Forest spirits - they have incorporeality, but are stronger than ghosts and can entangle enemies with roots, even at a distance, they cast slow, weakness, and stone skin, they cannot attack, but they summon treants without spending mana.
If there are no barbarians, then at least it would be good to add a monster as a neutral unit... a stupid and powerful creature, like Tolkien's trolls.
Yes, I also want to see a great vampire lord! :) let them be truly strong, even outside the necromancer's castle!
In addition to restoring health, they have an aura of fear and a berserk spell.
Night
Trolls! We need trolls like in Warcraft! :) Archer + rage = plagiarism:)
Yes, I was also thinking about this... it would be nice... :)
But I don't want to lose the uniqueness of the Heroes series, with all due respect to Warcraft.
