Ran out of rests and got blocked by snipers, which took about three days to bypass; this wasn't feasible on the tech map. And when I finally reached the exit from the spawn point, I got blocked by another guard unit in the adjacent area.

But in the end, everything turned out great. Quick full control in the GM, lots of units focused on stats, and a huge army.
