Player of the Year 2017

I once watched a game by Ivan on 6LM. The situation was such that a good half of the players would have written гг already in the first week. Complete garbage in terms of objects, resources, and roads. The only pluses were having a necromancer hero (either Septienna or Charn). He didn't crit, built chains with surgical precision, and won complex battles with tiny armies. In the 3rd week, he takes Dragon Utopia; small ducks from hives and other fodder are sent into the meat grinder without regret, and he rebuilds the Mage Guild multiple times. 137 ends like this: the entire army is about 400 skeletons. But on the other hand, there are leveled-up supports and control. Then 2 papal turns—and the purse is already such that it's hard to oppose anything at all...
