Terrible respawn. Block 10-19 monks guarding the prison, small respawn. But hope appeared. Up the rough terrain from the Castle, there were sequentially guarded a Sword +6, Shield +3/+3, Pendant +3all, and Sentinel's Shield. There was also a Griffin Conservatory, which turned out to be a single one. Struggling to gather gold, I got lucky; I was already thinking of building a Market instead of Horses to buy up for the Conservatory, when Kira, whom I sent far up, found an external Market. I took the Conservatory after capturing the Sword +6, and there was a surprise: Ivor got Advanced Logistics and Earth Magic. I decided to level him instead of Gunnar or Kira. Then I chain-gathered 2 more stacks of Horses, and waited for week 121 (Day 1, Month 2, Week 1). On Day 1, I took a chest with Ivor; it contained 5k experience. Then another on Day 2, but there was no experience; instead, there were 35 gr Centaurs. Well, nothing to be done, no more tempo, I had to break through the Minotaurs guarding the Pendant. Thankfully, before leaving, there was a strategic village. On Day 3, I took the Pendant with Gem (she lost only one Unicorn — see what lifesaving Articles can do), chain-gathered the Conservatory right before leaving (it turned out to be a double), and marched out with 27 Elves, 15 Horses, 10 Wives, 3 Angels, and filler. And then a surprise — Ghost Dragons guarding a chest. What to do? Had to attack. I lost all the Wives and 3 Horses there. But it turned out to contain 15 Cyclopes. Then I marched with an army of 3 Angels, 10 Horses, 15 Cyclopes, and 27 gr Elves, took a Hat +6all over gr Waspwasps without losses. At that point, the opponent surrendered.

As the reveal showed, the opponent had an absolutely terrible respawn as well, but he didn't surrender. Thank him for allowing me to play through that horror, although in a normal game I would have marched out and then been wiped out before I could even run back to the Castle.
