After that, he got a ring with +1 speed, max conservation with a Great Scroll. He ended up with 20 air elementals, 2 giants, 2 psykers, and no mana. He didn't reach the opponent's stronghold, which was 300 moves away on the low ground. The opponent attacked, closed in on tactical terrain, and simply shot down my elf. I sacrificed all my meat and bought 4 angels for 2k with diplomacy.
