This is what I'd like to discuss.
1. There are indeed players who intentionally don't submit winning reports in ranked seasons; I won't name names (but they readily confirm losing reports). Is there some kind of special trick to this? You encounter such a player in a tournament, not knowing them, and instead of an expected easy win, you get your butt kicked. )))
I'm just curious about your opinion: do you think it's okay to play ranked seasons with such players with the goal of increasing your rating?
2. There's a concept of "boosting your rating by playing against noobs." A newly registered player has a rating of 1500, which is higher than many experienced players. It's easier to beat them, and the rating gain is higher. I used to specifically try to catch such players, considering it normal, since I was still a newbie myself. Now I don't do that anymore, but in principle, I wouldn't judge anyone for doing so, especially since it only works until you raise your rating to a certain level. ))
What do you think?
