Yes, psatkha, you are right, the method is complex, and as RedHeavenHero and Ment correctly pointed out,

the commands look like they would require reinstalling not just the game, but Windows itself after they are executed.

I think it would be worth suggesting to the author of the assembly to make the process of removing the modification simpler and safer.
