It was the second month of running around Jebus Cross, all respawns explored, all Dragon Fly Hives taken, and almost all Dragon Utopias. Stats were roughly equal, though GoShanya's spell power was off the charts at 41. But he had a Cape of Silence and 15 Black Dragons, plus 27 Grand Nagas, 40 Wyverns, and 4 Angels. I had 90 Wyverns, 10 Angels (which upgraded to Archangels the next turn), 15 Grand Necrodragons, and 300 Skeletons.
We played until the opponent captured my main, and I captured his main and all his villages. He also took my center, although I had collected almost everything there. In short, we swapped respawns ))
But we never actually met in battle; early control by both sides took its toll. We jumped around castles, but neither dared to attack the other.
My mistake was that when I moved into the center earlier (on day 122), I didn't leave a guard in the center castle. The opponent's scout hero took it, and Shakti ate a couple of Dragon Utopias, since Shakti already had Town Portal. I quickly recaptured the center castle, and I should have gone after my opponent — I was ahead in both army strength and stats. But I lacked experience; I decided to linger longer in the center, which allowed my opponent to develop furious activity on the neighboring respawn. And I couldn't catch him there anymore. Well, basically, Shakti caught up in stats and army, and we decided not to torment ourselves anymore and agreed to a draw.
