Having spent all my restarts, we played on luck; I got Luna on random. At first I was satisfied, but it turned out there was simply nothing to burn :(, GO efreetis and devils, even the Dragon Fly Hive was behind efreeti guards. At the end of the week I found an external dwelling of birds, and couldn't even take that with a bolt at 245, getting 2 morale penalties from the birds. I had to run away and come back to finish it on week 2. In the end I sat for 2 weeks on the respawn rebuilding the Mage Guild in the Tower with a library until I built full control. I sniped 3 Dragon Utopias and only then started moving into the center. In the center, I lost again to fanatics 134+; it turned out 13 mana and 9 birds weren't enough, even though my stats were decent at 8 9 29 28. The opponent wasn't rushing into the center either — he had a huge respawn and his town was cut off. In the end we just ran around gathering troops. With 3 mages from the center and full control, I kept taking Dragon Utopias and cleared 2 respawns. I leveled Kyrre on the boxes, gathered Alliance and Elixir, and we played the finale. Thanks for the game and the time! We played the map for a very long time, and the opponent didn't even go AFK anywhere — we just sat and played for 8+ hours. Thanks to him for his endurance!
A proper warrior didn't come up, so I had to make Aislin my main. On the first week, I misjudged my strength and lost in the conservatory. I patched things up with shooters, but that made me stall heavily, and there was no question of even reaching the center. The second town had no road, so I had to slowly clear that entire huge respawn area for lack of other ideas.
By the end of the second week, I had to set up a worldwide chain of 7 heroes for supply, but even after setting it up, I didn't dare to tackle the ГО with the troops I had. I went to clear the respawn in the corners and take the native Dragon Utopias.
In the end, I only reached the center on day 144. I was aware that the opponent was already running things there, but I hoped to snag the bottom part under the noise. I didn't manage — the opponent immediately ran over to push me out. Surprisingly, our armies were comparable in strength, even though I essentially only had native troops. I managed to catch Luna, but without shackles and with a lot of gold, she easily bought herself out.
From watching, I saw that the opponent had gone to clear not only the center but also other respawns, while I, being very immobile, struggled to advance through the center. In the end, in panic, I rushed straight for the last untouched respawn, but by that point the opponent had built up a total advantage in every aspect.
A very long and interesting game in one sitting.
Thanks for the game!
