Tactics in BATTLES

Not exactly. Of course, HoMM 4 cannot be used as an example at all! But VoG is very similar to SoD—and don't even ask how—the tactics are similar :), but on the other hand, Amber is absolutely right: by changing the battle options (which is what we are talking about now), you essentially change the tactics; then damn it, we can forget all the tricks, both in the game and on the battlefield :)

just don't forget to disable neutral morale (there is such an option in TE), otherwise you might fold your wings.

In the battle you're talking about, it's possible to win even without that—without the "disable morale" option (well, if you don't have VoG)—though, damn, you'll be exhausted :D—some bastard will definitely catch up and hit you with everything they've got... :D
