Maybe they should nerf the Minotaurs so they don't have so much mana...

It's not "a lot of mana," but "enough to not be stuck after 1-2 casts." At best, it's 625 mana. The Djuans and Republicans, with a similar approach, easily get an extra 250 mana. That's 1-2 more casts, at the cost of more useful bonuses for mages (skill points) and the lack of access to certain skill branches. =/

Do I understand correctly that externally, your liches are not withered corpses, but more or less ordinary people? Healing magic doesn't work on the undead?
