"Newcomer - 2018. Winter"

Surprisingly good roads for the blue player – there’s a fork in the road leading in two directions right away. I managed to gather a decent army and recruit the Necromancer, Charna. I started claiming territories quite quickly, capturing a village and my companion. At the beginning of the next week, I started moving towards the orange companion, when suddenly an opponent appeared and his Fure cut off my Marius, but for some reason, he didn’t take my village – our armies were roughly equal, with a slight advantage on my side (in my opinion). I had Pir’ standing near my stronghold. I bought her and took out his rogue, Luna, and Vidomina, whom the opponent was using to summon skeletons. I didn’t quite understand why he didn’t make Vidomina retreat; either he didn’t realize that I was going to kill him, or Luna was more valuable, and he didn’t want to lose her. Fure’s stats were noticeably lower than Charna’s, and he only had 10 mana compared to my 65. I moved closer to him, but I wasn’t in range to attack. In his turn, the opponent bought Grindan and attacked Charna. He had 40 mana, but also a Meteor Shower scroll, and it seems he built his 4th guild hall in that turn. As a result of the battle, the opponent was left with 14 Basilisks and 12 Skeletons, and I had 1 Sultan Ifrit. The opponent had -2 morale, and I had -1. We chased each other for about 2 rounds, but he couldn’t catch up. I referred to the rules and asked him to retreat. The opponent initially decided to continue chasing – another 10-15 rounds passed. I offered him to retreat or write to the judges. The opponent retreated and surrendered.
