This is called jurisprudence. From a common-sense perspective, it contains quite a lot of nonsense, but courts make decisions in this way.

Now, let's read the wording:

In this case, on turn 112, it became clear that point A had occurred, but since the restart is "optional," you don't have to rush; you can play a little longer and then take a restart based on point B. Sometimes, there are generations where a player has two paths to the center. Yes, I understand that this is a flaw in the rules, but the letter of the law is exactly like this in this place...

Let's read the rules to the end, not just the convenient part:
"Optional restarts are allowed for a player:
a) who does not have a Town Hall on the path leading to the central treasure;
b) who does not have a continuous road leading from the starting castle to the central treasure through the starting zone,
are taken on the day these facts are discovered. If subjective restarts remain, the player can use one of the remaining subjective restarts (i.e., on turn 124, you can use the remaining restart from turn 111). If subjective restarts are exhausted, the player has the right to request an additional restart."
What do you think this phrase in the rules is for? Is it so that the player runs around and explores their starting area and decides whether to play this game or restart?
