I think that many of these tricks were discovered a long time ago, they just weren't used for a while. For example, it describes a bug with the earthquake spell, which was used many years later in Bug-Race (and, I think, in Qin the Suprime). There was also this bug with Sacrifice: In the original Heroes III, the game let you cast Sacrifice on enemy stacks. [posted 10/25/1999] In general, for a game that's 19 years old, all these discoveries are understandable.
