How does Hearthstone handle this? It allows you to quickly click through and not even see the animation of you losing a star, and if you close the game, nothing special happens. This once again indirectly confirms Blizzard's attitude towards losses – they are not recorded in the statistics anywhere, unlike wins.
What does Heroes of Might and Magic do? You can't click through anything, so you "enjoy" the animation of your rating points flying away. And if you want to close the client earlier, the game will scold you the next time you log in, saying that "you forfeited the match" and that you shouldn't do that, even though your hero was already dead at the time of quitting. I'm not saying that the developers did anything wrong (in some ways, maybe it's even better), but these two approaches are illustrative. Although Heroes of Might and Magic also doesn't have loss statistics, apart from the log.

Also, is anyone playing Sigil Rune right now? Do you think there's a place for Mysteria (the legendary card for 5 mana) in this deck? At first, I liked playing with Solmyr and throwing chain lightnings at the enemy for 4-5 damage, but then I decided that it's quite rare to be able to effectively use Mysteria. Unless you play through the new legendary golem, which I don't have.
