Yes, it's an interesting idea, and the timing of the map's release is great!
I just checked, and it's even designed for three players. But it's intended for a single player, as the author states, because there are moments where the other players are inactive. There's a lot of text on each side + a Narrator, who could also be seen in Sander's Folly and Gold Heart, to read additional text at certain points.
