Scouted my super treasure zone and saw 3 more Utopias there, before that I only took one Utopia at the entrance. I was just about to fly there when Kirre appeared near my Castle on a speed build with 5 Angels. The battle was quick — with the Cape of Speed my Angels and birds moved first. I took the main hero and all artifacts. A surrender followed. Thanks for the game!
I had to choose the first rest along the only road leading out of a one-way portal. I didn't dare take the second rest because, under the new rules, it would become the last pick: I didn't see any forks, but I broke through to a crossroads and the respawn was not in the center. On the second day, disappointments came: the road again zigzagged without forks straight into a one-way portal, and my opponent revealed Galtran.
I struggled through the first week, spending my already scarce gold on rerolls in an attempt to somehow scrape by. On the second week, I finally managed to get out to take computer towns and Dragon Fly Hives. I was quickly cut off from my town, as building a chain of 7 heroes was hardly reasonable. And the Brown and Purple players, who had fled from my opponent, would have cut the chains anyway.
Kirre was leveling nicely and Wyverns were accumulating, but slowly. Plus, the timer started to stress me out.
By the end of the third week, I had built a decent stack, but I had no control and generally no options of where to go. Both "my" super treasure zones were out of reach (and as later revealed, they were also worthless — exactly 0 Utopias on both "super" treasure zones), while my opponent had already loaded into his own. I realized I couldn't delay going against Gosha any longer. However, the roads kept violating me, and I reached him very late, and even left myself exposed. My opponent with Town Portal quickly punished me.
Thanks for the game!
