Antimagic can be used in cases where there is no resurrection (you might regret it later) and if the opponent casts weakening spells and chaos magic.
Well, if there's no resurrection, then there are probably some blessings available... besides, who besides a Nature mage would benefit from it?! Life spells?! unlikely, wards are much more effective, and chaos magic probably not either, as chaos mages are usually busy with other things in battle... P.S. If the opponent casts weakening spells, it's much better to remove it with exorcism; finding the spell isn't that difficult either.
