This is my opinion! The game is excellent, but it definitely has its drawbacks. For example, I found that some of the individual maps (not the Campaigns) have a rather simplistic world. I mean that the maps are all quite monotonous; you mostly run around on paths and in their vicinity, but I think this is a consequence of the 3D engine. It's a shame that many good features from the fourth game were removed (like caravans, for example), but these are all minor things! However, it's very interesting to play the Campaigns – you have to think, not just mindlessly accumulate monsters! Overall, the game is excellent, and only time will tell whether it will surpass the previous installments. There will be add-ons, maps, and so on, and then we'll see if the interest in the game remains or starts to fade. But for now, I think it's great... and I also think that it's 70% Heroes 3 in 3D, plus 30% of new features – and that's great! I'm not claiming anything; I just wanted to share my opinion.
