But if we start gaining an advantage solely by disabling the opponent's tactical options (your example), then such gameplay tactics are not acceptable, as they are not applicable in SoD—which is what most people use...
I am not against TE. It's just that one shouldn't consider tactics where the cornerstone of victory consists of nuances and game schemes that are not typical for SoD. Let's enable double turns and artifact duplication (WoG)—isn't that a way to beat an opponent very quickly? It's just not interesting.
