What exactly is the disadvantage? SoD is not affected at all, and all the plugins there still work.

I didn't mention disadvantaging SoD; someone previously used plugins on HotA as well, fortunately support for different versions was added there.
Essentially, this is what I was talking about — the community is being divided into pens: you play Jebus Cross — go to HotA, you play single-player (where 95% of all maps are) — go to SoD.
